海外を中心としたベンチャー企業の発掘、投資、また投資先企業の日本・アジア進出支援に従事。また、北米 Y Combinator for Biotech, Illumina Accelerator、また Techstarsのメンターとしてライフサイエンス系、及びIT系全般のベンチャー企業支援に従事。
それ以前は、GV（旧Google Ventures) において起業家の主にアジアを中心とする海外ビジネス展開のアドバイザー／フェローシップ支援や、日系独立系ベンチャーキャピタルにて大手日系企業のCVC設立及び運用支援を中心に活動。また、伊藤忠商事及びCTCにて約10年間勤務。

He discovers and invest in venture businesses mainly outside Japan and support advances into the Japanese and the Asian markets for companies invested in. Currently he is engaged as a general partner for Dentsu Ventures, and also served as an fellowship partner at GV (Google Ventures), assisting fellowship programs mainly in Asia.
Before the establishment of Prime Partners, he was involved in CVC establishment and operational support for major Japanese businesses at an independent Japanese venture capital firm. Prior to that, he worked for approximately 10 years at ITOCHU Corporation and CTC.
Graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in Economics and a BS in Physics and earned his MBA at the USC Marshall School of Business.
